Engineering Manager
Jul 2024 – presentSingle people-manager for a 30+-engineer hybrid organization across six concurrent programs: objectives, staffing, performance, and budget and schedule. Early, hands-on AI adopter — architected and directed a suite of AI-built internal management tools and coaches the team’s practical AI literacy.
Engineering Supervisor → Engineering Manager
Dec 2019 – Jul 2024Managed ~20 direct-report engineers end to end — recruiting, hiring, onboarding, mentorship — as site manager for the company’s flagship engineering leadership-development program. Company-wide program coordinator (2022–2024) across 18 cities, 6 states, and 70+ participants. Ran a 50+-intern summer program and built a week-long new-hire onboarding boot camp.
Software Engineer → Senior Software Engineer; Software Lead
2014 – 2019Wrote software professionally: led software task management and testing for three software releases through the full development lifecycle; recognized subject-matter expert across multiple subsystems. Served ~3 months as acting technical manager in 2017 — two years before formally entering management, in the same domain managed today.
